USS Pathfinder: Establishing Albion’s Command Post

USS Albion – Deck 2
The glimmer of the transporter beam faded away and the darkness of the conference room on deck two took shape around Ensign Sturrn and his team of five marines. They had beamed on deck two, because the bridge of the Albion had been destroyed and there was no access to the support rooms of deck one.
They searched the room and found no threads present. The Corporals Henderson and Miller secured the door while Private Sanchez and Sergeant Frankowski kept their eyes locked on the two access hatches of the Jeffries tubes leading to this room.
“All clear” reported Marine Lieutenant Mandel to Sturrn. He nodded and opened his communicator.
“Sturrn to Pathfinder. The conference room on deck two is secured. Begin to beam over material and marines. Sturrn out.”
A few moments later a few boxes took shape on the corner of the room. Mandel and Sturrn walked over to unbox the equipment for the mobile command center. Until they reached the auxiliary bridge and the systems have been restored they would coordinate the rescue efforts from here.
As they carried a box to the large desk a group of marines with an engineer materialized in the opposite corner of the room.
